With SOE introducing the G.I.R.L program, questions have been flying.
Calthine and I sat down and used Cal's mad bard skills to coerce... err... persuade Torrie Dorrell, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Sony Online Entertainment, to answer a few of those questions for us.

I'm kinda disappointed that it's only being offered to students w/ the Art Institutes.. I'm a chica going for my game design BA, but not with A.I. Hopefully more schools will jump on the bandwagon next year!
BTW, I'm the only girl in my degree program. Our boy/girl ratio is about 500:1!

I know the G.I.R.L. staff are incredibly enthusiastic about the program. Hopefully they'll expand it to your school!
