Poison (WoW)
Poisons are debilitating effects, generally ones that drain health, mana, restrict movement, and similar effects over a period of time. Rogues have the ability to coat their weapons with poison, weakening enemies with each strike. The poison status is denoted by a green border around the poison icon. There is even an entire secondary skill for rogues devoted to Poisonmaking. Hunter stings are also considered poisons, however no preparation is required to use them.
