"Burynai" Collections

These are collections that we can't find a zone to harvest or loot them in yet, but we have been able to get them from the Burynai House Pet that was a ROK Preorder reward. Feed your pet burynai a fertilizer, bone, and water to get a random collection from ANY ZONE (including NO-TRADE)!

TriviaSolifugae is an order of Arachnida, containing more than 1,000 described species in about 140 genera. The name derives from Latin, and means those that flee from the sun. ... Their common names include camel spider, wind scorpion, sun scorpion and sun spider. ... Most Solifugae inhabit warm and arid habitats, including virtually all deserts.[1] Given this, and the level on these quests, it is likely that they were originally intended to be included in the Desert of Flames expansion.

Lyndro stated at the 5/8/08 EQII Allakhazam Developer's Chat: "Ok, so this is my bad. The Burynai was giving out non existent shinies for a bit there. However they all should have been removed within a day or two of launch. Most of these quests are very incomplete, and we don't have any specific plans to add them. If a Burynai is still giving out items that can't be completed in game, that is a bug and we'll get it fixed. "

For a brief time, the Burynai Digger House Pet, available to those that pre-ordered Rise of Kunark, was giving out collection items for collection quests that never got completely added. Lyndro has said that these quests were never, and are not planned to be, finished. This quest was for those items, and so is not, and will not, appear in game.

Runnyeye: The Gathering Collections

The following collections were introduced with Game Update #46:

Red Shiny Collections

Introduced Game Update 46, these occur across expansions. You must have the Earring of the Solstice equipped to see the red shinies, which means you must be a level 80 crafter who has completed their Tradeskill Epic.

We need information on the Red Shiny collections!
